*Update: Franklin High

Franklin High does not have a football team. The team knowingly used three ineligible players and coach Verner knew it and didn’t care. Sac-Joaquin Section Commissioner Pete Saco held a press conference today and held Stockton Unified School District responsible for this. No more football until at least 2010 for the high school in Stockton. To make matters worse the entire winter and spring athletics program will not be allowed to participate in the playoffs for the 2007-2008 season.

This situation is a disgrace and this coach needs to be fired immediately and never be allowed to coach. No one wants to take responsibility for this atrocious act. The people that are going to suffer most from this are the kids. Fair? Let us know what you think in the Comments.
